CSV format guide

One row per ingredient. RECIPE, YIELD, SELL PRICE, LABOR MINUTES, LABOR RATE, TAGS, ALLERGENS, and DIRECTIONS only need to be filled in on a recipe's first row -- leave them blank on the rows below it to add more ingredients to that same recipe. A blank RECIPE cell always means “still the previous recipe.”

This is close to what a spreadsheet (Excel, Google Sheets) export already looks like -- reorder/rename the columns to match and it should import cleanly. For an exact backup of everything in your account (cost guide, recipes, inventory, sales log, and settings together), use Backup & Restore instead.
